Poverty may not be easy to see, but it is everywhere and can affect anyone. The sudden loss of a job, an illness, family breakup or rent increase may lead to poverty or homelessness. Some may be afraid to ask for help when they are struggling. They may be able to hide it well, but they may be struggling to feed their children or pay their bills. Every person deserves basic human dignity; no one should face hardship trying to feed their family or keep a roof over their head.
