I appreciate you taking the time to sponsor me in this 5K charity run! Over the course of my life, I have dealt with my own weight issues. I am using this run as an opportunity to kick start my own health back on track, as well as help children who could use our support in their journey with their own bodies. Here is a little bit about the Pediatric Obesity Foundation: "The Foundation's mission is to provide the opportunity for families of all income levels to access treatment services (such as that provided by the Pediatric Weight Clinic) for their children; to support innovative research in the field of pediatric obesity; to provide volunteer programs; and to provide education to health care professionals and the general public about the issue of pediatric obesity.
