Please help us make this year's Virtual Remembrance Day / Juno Beach event in support of Juno Beach Centre Association one of the best ever

I'm racing to support the Juno Beach Centre (JBC) during this, the 75th anniversary of the end of The Second World War. With visitors to JBC down by 66%, their donations and revenues are likewise in decline. JBC has teamed with VR Pro to create the Virtual Remembrance Day Race as a fundraiser. My goal is to raise $1000.00 for the centre. Tax receipts are available for donations of $20 or more. I will be completing the half-marathon 21.1K distance during the "There and Back" march to Queenston Heights on Saturday, October 10. I chose this distance as it represents the total number of troops, Canadian and British, who landed on Juno Beach on D-Day.  I also chose this race as my dad landed on Juno Beach on June 10, 1944 and I thought it was a good way to honour his participation in the liberation of France.
