What is the CVC?

CVC stands for Card Validation (or Verification) Code. Similar to Credit Cards, the Running Room Gift Card has a version of the CVC to reduce merchant risk in Card-Not-Present transactions (like Internet, telephone or mail-order). The CVC code adds assurance that the consumer placing the order has access or physical possession of the credit card itself in order to use the CVC code.

WHERE IS THE CARD NUMBER?

The Card Number is a 10 digit code imprinted on the reverse side of the Running Room Gift Card.

WHERE IS THE CVC?

The CVC is a 4 digit code imprinted on the reverse side of the Running Room Gift Card. When you receive your Running Room Gift Card, the CVC code is hidden by an area that must be scratched to reveal the number.
