A Bit About the Instructor

Name: Maggie Stevens

Greetings fellow walkers! I am very pleased to be instructing this walking clinic. My lifelong passion for walking has led me from being an avid recreational walker, to an active participant in many events over the past few years, and now to instructing. In addition to my love of walking and hiking for fun and fitness here in our city, and on all of my vacations, I have enjoyed participating in events of all distances, from the 5k to the full marathon.

I immensely enjoy the numerous benefits of walking, including improved health and fitness, taking in the gorgeous scenery on outdoor walks, and the wonderful camaraderie of fellow walkers.

It is great to see others working towards achieving their goals, and having the support of the Walking Room/Running Room!
 

If you are interested in joining our team for Clinic Instructors let us know. We offer full time and part time Clinic Instructors positions for those of you who have a passion for running or walking; and are interested in getting more involved with us here at the Running Room. If running or walking is your passion and you have outstanding communication, customer service skills as well as a commitment to promoting the sport of running/walking in a retail environment, we are interested in talking to you. Interested candidates could select the store of your choice and please contact the manager of the store directly....
