26, 2003 Pickering Pylons Conquer the CN Tower! On Saturday April 26th, seven runners from Pickering Running Room gathered at sunrise to take hill training to the ultimate level. The "Pickering Pylons" - known for their flashy fluorescent orange hats - climbed the 1,776 stairs to the 342 meter high Observation Level of the CN Tower in support of World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Canada. The group's best climb time came in at 14:36 and had an average climb time of about 17:30. |
