ICELAND! How many of us are training for Reykjavik?

Hi! My name is Oona, and I'm part of Team D! So far, I've raised $7k for Team D, and am looking forward to intensifying my training with the goal of walking the 1/2 marathon in Iceland. My goal is 3 hours, better shoot for the stars, eh?

I joined Team D when my husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. We knew we had to incorporate more exercise into our life, and it just seemed fitting to do this by joining a cause (Team D) and raising money and awareness of the disease at the same time. We're enjoying the extra energy from our regular walking, and my husband's diabetes is under MUCH better control!

As for Iceland - I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

Hi ...I will be going to Iceland in August also!!!
I have raised $7500.00 for Team D, and am currently training for the half marathon.
It's very exciting, and I am really looking forward to going.
